This is what I was looking for, thank you man. I thought that I will have to make a fork myself for this functionality :)

Using the XML export/import method doesn't handle users. Did you loose all of your revision history ?

You can also do it use:

    from django.shortcuts import redirect

then you can use

    redirect('url-name')

And let the URL resolver deal with converting it to an absolute URL.

Scan Cafe lost my originals. I found the customer service very poor. It seems they have developed a "script" when originals go missing and will do their very best to avoid acknowledging their error. It would almost be funny, except that I lost more than 100 originals and some were nearly 100 years old (my grandmother as a 4 year old in 1914) and irreplacable. Bottom line: do your scanning locally so if things go wrong, you have some hope of finding your lost originals.

Actually, it went really well. I dragged my feet on several of the steps, but everything on their end was pretty fast, and the quality was great. I'll post a follow-up in the next couple of weeks.

Nah man, I am not a big Edward Furlong fan, but I am pretty sure that if he were even up for the part, he probably wouldnt have gotten it because 8 mile is a story about Eminem, right? You are a strange dude.. You should get out more...
